VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Burnett River, Clean Up Day 3: Meet point: LIONS PARK BOAT RAMP

NOTE: Thommo is running. Start at 0730, BYO lunch

Cruise along the mangrove lined river on a Nature Cruise & fill our boat with rubbish big (tyres, boat bits) & small (micro plastics). This opportunity is NOT FOR KIDS.

Join our Clean Up Crew to make a true difference to our waterways.We need fit, able bodied volunteers to help us clean up the Burnett River region.NB: You must book this using the Eventbrite link below: The event is FREE but we need to know you will show up. There's only 2 spots per day & if you don't come, others miss out & we don't get the help we need.You will need:1) To wear clothes that cover you from top to tail. They will get wet and muddy.2) Solid shoes (e.g Gumboots) for getting wet.3) Mozzie repellent, sunscreen, hat, water, snacks,4) Tolerance for manual labour & bad jokes.Average clean up day will see 500kg removed. The more hands we have, the more rubbish we can prevent from entering our oceans!
