RSPCA Wacol School Holiday Program - April 2026
Spend the day at RSPCA Queensland helping shelter animals, get involved with hands-on activities that make an impact.
RSPCA QLD
School Holiday Programs
Participants will be doing what our amazing staff and volunteers do every day. They will assist with the jobs that need to be done. Although there will be a chance to see some real live animals, RSPCA is about so much more with activities such as making up meals, hand crafting toys, cleaning pens, building enrichment puzzles and so much more!
Each day has a tour of the entire Wacol campus to meet some of those guests who may not be a part of your selected program.
We will have breaks so make sure you bring something to eat, cold water is available across the campus so remember to bring a water bottle.
You will need to have closed in shoes and a hat (don't forget the sunscreen) to participate as we will be spending some time in the sun.
Unfortunately RSPCA does not have display animals that are readily available to meet groups of children, although we do see animals during programs we cannot garuntee a full day handling them.
RSPCA Qld has a Child & Youth Risk Management Strategy , including implementation of the Child Safety Standards. For more information, including accessing a copy of these documents email education@rspcaqld.org.au
- To lodge feedback or raise a dispute regarding child safety for an RSPCA Qld Youth based program you can email education@rspcaqld.org.au
- All communication will be considered confidential
Terms and Conditions
- No person will be permitted to attend without agreeing to a Visitor to the Workplace Agreement. This can be emailed upon request and will be available to view upon arrival.
- Any breach of the safety requirements in the agreement will result in the participant being unable to complete the program.
