Make a booking and come to RSPCA Dakabin Goodwin Road, Dakabin.

A ticket must be booked for each individual animal/owner to allow adequate time for the Microchipping to be completed. If you have more than one animal please call Donna on 0419 469 825, so we can assist you further.

You do not need to be a concession card holder and if you have previously come to a Community Outreach Day, that is ok we would love to help you with Microchipping your beautiful Pets 🐾 You just need to be living in the MORETON BAY Region!

This is a 🐾pet-friendly day! Please ensure your pet is:

• On a lead, or
• In a secure carrier
• If you do not have one, our team can assist you on arrival.

• Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your appointment to reduce time spent in the heat.

🌡️ Weather & Heat Safety

Hot weather is common during this time of year. To help keep your pets safe:

• Consider an earlier appointment if your pet is vulnerable to heat (e.g. flat-faced breeds, older pets).
• If walking to the event, perform a 3-second heat test by placing the back of your hand on the pavement.
  If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.
• Never leave pets in the car. If you need help, call your Community Liaison Officer when you arrive.
