Join us for the RSPCA Community Hub Day on Wednesday the 23rd November 2023 at Loganlea Community Centre from 9:00am until 2:30pm.
This event is for qualifying candidates who hold an approved concession card. CRN will need to be provided. Means-testing ensures resources are provided to the people who require it the most.
PLEASE NOTE: Community Day health check bookings are for new clients registering for our program. Our services provide initial support to people and pets and are not ongoing. If you are a previous or current client and require additional support, please email our team at community-outreach@rspcaqld.org.au.
A ticket must be booked for each individual animal to allow adequate time for health checks, these can be in the same time slot as we have multiple vets, tickets are limited to 2 per person. If you have additional animals please talk with one of our friendly staff on the day to enquire about future community days.
The team will be on hand to chat with you about your pet and provide you with free advice so you can be the best pet-parent to your beloved animals. RSPCA Queensland will also be supporting your pet with:
- Free veterinary health checks (per booking)
- Free vaccinations (per booking)
- Free microchipping and pet ID tags
- Free flea and worming products for your pets thanks to Elanco
- Free grooming advice
- Free pet care essentials for dogs and cats (food, collars, leads etc.)
- Behaviour and training advice
- Information about positive pet ownership
- Chat to the team about our de-sexing program(bookings taken for future date)
This is a pet-friendly day. If you’re bringing your pet/s please ensure they are safe by securing them on a lead or in a carrier. NB: If you do not have access to a carrier or lead, please see staff on arrival for assistance.
