The Water Safety Talk (WST) is a classroom-based workshop; there are no requirements for practical work in the water. The WST is suitable for all ages and can be taught during a one-off workshop or broken down over a series of classes. Participants will be engaged through hands on, interactive activities using photos, videos, rescue equipment, lifejackets, CPR manikins, bandages and more.

Royal Life Saving WA will be presenting their Water Safety Talk. This program is an interactive 45-minute classroom-based presentation that equips participants with knowledge around the different bodies of water and how to stay safe in, out and around the water.

You can expect to learn:

  • How to identify dangers in different aquatic environments.
  • Safe rescue techniques
  • Basic resuscitation and first aid

Please book in as spaces are limited. For all inquiries contact Bullsbrook Public Library on (08) 9207 8989.
