The Toowoomba Mountaineers are the Elite Senior Sporting Team representing the Darling Downs Region in the Queensland State League. The Mountaineers have a long tradition in the local community that dates back to 1949.Since that time our Mountaineers teams have been involved in a number of competitions, the more recent of these being the Queensland State League, run by Basketball Queensland.Home Games are played at the USQ Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre, between May and August each year. The Queensland State League competition involves 14 teams from throughout Queensland
