Do we need our own camping equipment?

Yes! Please bring your own tent and camping equipment with you as this isn't provided and we'd hate for you to end up sleeping with the quokkas! Tents can be bought SUPER cheap in Kmart, like 13$ for a 2 man tent, it's a lot cheaper than the likes of the UK.

How much luggage can I take?

Everyone gets 1 luggage tag for the return journey to keep hold of. Luggage must not exceed 22kg and dimensions of 80x50x40cm. This luggage will go in the hold on the ferry and be delivered to the camp site a few hours after arriving. You can take everything else onboard the ferry!

Do I have to share a tent?

No, absolutely not, we'd never make you! We do encourage this though, and will ask you if you want help being matched to someone you can share with.

What is included in the BBQ? Do you cater for special food requirements?

Everyone gets one food ticket at our BBQs, with the choice of a burger/hot dog/veggie burger which can be selected when you book. If you are gluten intolerant, etc. please email us 48 hours before the trip minimum and we will make sure there is a suitable food option for you!

We are off to Rotto for another incredible camping trip!

Our trip includes overnight camping ground fees, snorkel and bike hire, return ferry journey and a bbq <3 whereas the ferry journey alone is known to be 140$ some days!

Plus it is an insanely fun two days of exploring, games and getting to know your group.

ITINERARY

9:15 AM - Meet at the B Shed Ferry Terminal in Fremantle for ferry check in. Do not be late, the ferry will leave precisely on time at 10AM. Your hosts will give you one luggage tag, do not lose this as it needs to stay visible on your bag for the return journey

10:30AM - We will arrive at Rottnest Island and need to check in. A member of your tent site will be required to give card details at reception, just in case there is any damage*.

Usually they're pretty quick with bringing the luggage over to the tent site, so head over and put the rest of your stuff down then maybe do some exploring before setting up!

12PM - Meet your hosts at Pedal and Flipper bike hire to sign out and receive your bike and snorkel. You will have these for 24hrs :)

4PM - Meet back at the camp site where your hosts (and any of you that are kind enough to help) will be starting up the BBQ!

DAY 2

8:30AM - Time to get up and pack everything away, it needs to be at the luggage collection point at 9AM to go back to the ferry

10AM - Breakfast at Frankie's as a group (optional, not included)

12PM - Meet at Pedal and Flipper to return equipment

2PM - Meet under bandstand near ferry point to prepare for ferry

2:30PM- Home time! :)

You will be added to a WhatsApp group for further instructions , to meet your group and ask any questions <3
