Description

Seafood Masterclass with Travis Harvey at The Essential Ingredient Rozelle

It’s been a long time since Australian chefs simply threw another shrimp on the barbie. Australian cuisine has developed, becoming sophisticated and refined, borrowing from the diversity of cultures that the country represents. In this Master class, you will learn some of the dishes that have made Australian chef’s treatment of seafood justly famous.

Chef Travis Harvey has travelled the globe cooking in Europe, Canada and Central America. He started the De La Tierra Cooking school in Oaxaca, Mexico and has since dedicated himself to culinary instruction. He now teaches cooking full-time, and consults for SBS Television Australia, International Masters Publishing and Sheraton Resorts.

This special class for members of Rotarian's Wine Appreciation Fellowship and their guests will include a two-hour lesson, recipes and seafood lunch with Australian wines. This is a premium seafood event featuring chilli mud crab, skinned barrmundi, seared scallops, and wait until you see what we do with that shrimp!

Dress is casual. Please arrive by 9:45am to ensure a prompt start at 10:00am.

Cost in Australian dollars including lesson, recipes, luncheon, Australian wine and booking fee is $129.12 per person. PLEASE NOTE: Payment is by MasterCard, Visa Card or PayPal. Bookings are final with no cancellations and no refunds.
