Dementia Connection – A Space for Understanding, Sharing, and Support

Dementia Connection is a dedicated support peer led group within the Carer Hub, created for carers who are walking alongside loved ones living with dementia. This gentle, welcoming space brings people together to share experiences, learn from one another, and feel understood by those who truly “get it.”

Each session offers time to connect, talk openly, and explore the challenges and wins that come with caring for someone with dementia. Whether you’re navigating changes in behaviour, memory loss, communication shifts, or the emotional impact of the caring journey, you don’t have to face it alone.

Participants can exchange practical strategies, discover helpful resources, and find comfort in a community that listens without judgement. It’s a place to slow down, breathe, and connect with others who understand the unique complexities of dementia care.
