Carers Queensland Local Area Coordinator (LAC) Visiting the Rockhampton Carer Hub Monthly

Carers Queensland’s Local Area Coordinator (LAC) will be available at the Rockhampton Carer Hub from 11am - 2.30pm.

Carers are welcome to drop in for information, guidance, and support on:

• Community Connection Plans
• Access Requests to join the NDIS
• Check‑ins and plan reviews
• Understanding and using your NDIS Plan
• Support with Plan Nominee processes
• Guidance on working with service providers
• General information and assistance related to NDIS services

Please note: The Monthly event has been created especially for people who provide unpaid care to family members or friends, as recognised under the National Carer Recognition Act. This means the sessions are not suitable for paid carers, support workers or service providers, unless you also provide care for someone personally.
