Join us in a practical skills coaching session to learn all about Diabetes 101 - we’ll break down the basics!
This session is facilitated by a registered nurse and designed to enhance the health literacy of carers to support care recipients with safe diabetes management.
After completing this session participants should be able to:
- Examine the characteristics of type 1 and type 2 diabetes
- Examine acute and chronic complications of diabetes and first aid interventions for emergencies
