Rock Trip 6-Week Band Experience for Musicians

Overview

Join us for Rock Trip, a 6-week band experience where musicians come together to jam, learn, and rock out!

Welcome to Rock Trip - the ultimate 6-week band experience for musicians!

Join us for an unforgettable journey of music and camaraderie that ends with you and your band performing live on stage at Bucketty's Brewing Co. Whether you're a guitarist, drummer, vocalist, or bassist, this event is your chance to jam out, improve your skills, and connect with fellow music lovers. Don't miss out on this opportunity to rock out and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Course Structure

Step 1: Meet & Greet

Join us at our kickoff session, where you'll meet other participants and test out group combos with guidance from your coach.

Step 2: Weekly Rehearsals

No dark, dusty jam rooms here. Each week, your band will rehearse on the actual stage at Bucketty’s Brewing Co., with access to professional gear and coaching — all while the venue is closed to the public.

You'll get the rare experience of rehearsing in a real performance environment, complete with lights, sound, and a bar on standby (yes, it’s open for Rock Trippers). Your coach will guide the group through song selection, arrangement tweaks, and how to lock in your band's groove.

By the time gig night rolls around, the only thing new will be the crowd.

Step 3: Hit the Stage

It all leads to a final performance at Bucketty’s — a welcoming venue where friends, family, and beer all come together. You’ll walk away with pro photos, video footage, and memories that'll last a lifetime.

Agenda

9 February: Meet & Greet Audition

Your journey starts with an exciting jam session led by our coach, Richard Burgman (from the legendary Australian band Sunnyboys). Participants will take turns on stage performing the track "Knocking on Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan. This isn't about perfection—it's an opportunity for Richard to gauge your experience & style.

16 February: Rehersal Week 1

During rehearsals, all bands will come together and take turns performing on stage. It’s a relaxed, supportive environment where you can learn just as much from watching others as you do from playing yourself. Richard will coach and mentor you through each session - helping you tighten your sound, build confidence, and bring real stage presence to your performance.

23 February: Rehersal Week 2

Groove building and arrangement tweaks.
