Description
Robowars takes over the Southbank Piazza for metal mayhem on the 20th of May 2018.
Robots big and small, built from metal, power tools and remote-controlled toy parts will fight against each other in the ultimate test of man and machine. Bots from all over Australia will be coming to battle it out in this unmissable one-day event. Just who — or what — will be crowned the champion?
Want to meet the builders and get a closer look at the robots? We will also have a limited number of VIP tickets available.
Ticket Information
This year we want to share the Robowars experience with as many people as possible. To do this we have expanded the number of tickets with Gold, Silver and Bronze tickets available. We have also included two 6m big screens to make sure everyone can see the action.
If you want to see the other side of the robots we have our VIP seats. This lets you enter the pits and talk to the builders and see the robots behind the show.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Adult supervision is required and all children under the age of 12 must be accompanied at all times.
What ages is the event suitable for?
The event is suitable for all ages. But for very young children we would suggest pair of ear muffs to dampen some of the loud noises.
How do I start building robots?
Our call for competitors is posted on the Robowars.com.au website several months before our events. There is also a number of groups around Australia who can help you get started. Send us a message on Facebook and we will point you in the right direction.
