Robot Royale 7

Robot Royale 7

MCIC Event Space (G22)Kensington, NSW
Sunday, Feb 22 from 9 am to 5 pm
Overview

Come watch or compete in our 150g robot combat event, Robot Royale!

What is it?

Robot Royale by UNSW Founders, UNSW Create, Wollongong Robot Combat, UTS, and USYD is a competition where custom robots fight head-to-head in our bulletproof-glass arena! What better way to learn engineering skills than destructively test our robots over and over again? (Many of our competitors are not even engineers!)

Participants have been building 150g robots for one of two destructive leagues - plastic or open, using techniques including 3D printing, soldering, CNC milling and laser cutting! In the round robin, bots aim to score points by winning matches. The resulting score will seed them into the knock-out tournament later in the day.

In the past, we've had competitors from Brisbane, Hobart, Perth, Port Macquarie, Canberra, Wollongong, Newcastle, and Sydney!
