Come along to discuss how the 2025 season went, share any key learnings from the year and how they can be applied for the 2026 season. We encourage growers to get there early, catch up with neighbours and hear about the work being undertaken by Riverine Plains.

What we'll cover

  • 2025 season discussion: key learnings & challenges
  • Riverine Plains updates and upcoming work
  • 2025 project results
  • Feedback session: an opportunity to let us know your thoughts on 2025 and what you would like to see from Riverine Plains in 2026!

Optical Spot Spray Technology Field Day

Riverine Plains and WeedSmart are hosting a joint field day exploring Optical Spot Spraying Technology (OSST) and what it could mean for the future of summer fallow weed control. This session is designed to help growers and advisers get practical on how these systems work, where they fit (and don’t), what to watch for in set-up and operation, and how to think about return on investment.

Hear from WeedSmart on how this technology aligns with best practice spray application including the Big 6 principles that underpin spray efficacy and performance. A panel discussion will then unpack real-world experiences: what’s worked, what’s been challenging, how people are approaching calibration and logistics, and what questions to ask before choosing a platform.

There will a broad range of OSST suppliers on site to showcase equipment and talk through key differences between systems.
