Riverina Murray Agritourism Strategy Development - Community Workshop

Destination Riverina Murray (DRM) was established by the NSW Government in 2017 as one of six Destination Networks responsible for driving the growth of the region’s visitor economy.Our mission is to strengthen the region’s visitor economy by developing strong partnerships with industry, local government and tourism organisations to collectively contribute towards increasing visitation, expenditure and dispersal within the Riverina Murray region.

Destination Riverina Murray (DRM) are currently developing an Agritourism Strategy to guide and stimulate the development of agritourism across the region. This new Agritourism Strategy will provide significant opportunities for farmers, tourism operators, and the wider community to capitalise on the Riverina Murray's unique combination of agricultural and tourism assets, including its wine, food, fibre, and natural attractions.The success of this Agritourism Strategy relies heavily on the involvement of local communities and industry stakeholders in the Riverina Murray region. Open to members of the public, this in-person workshop aims to gather input and feedback from the Griffith, Leeton and surrounding community - along with agriculture and tourism representatives - to ensure this Agritourism Strategy aligns with your needs and aspirations.
