Riesling & RnB

Cake Wines

We often talk about what a wine tastes like, but what about what a wine sounds like? The latest event from Sommelier Samantha Payne and Glen Cassidy (Cake Wines), comes a wine night like no other; Riesling and RnB.  Where different styles of wines are paired with some of Sydney’s best RnB DJ’s for one night only. By exploring interesting and often mis-understood varietals of the world, they aim to change the way we imbibe wine.  For this edition, we are focusing on the misconceptions that all Riesling is sweet (it’s not) and that all Rieslings taste the same (they don’t) - there’s even a couple of Sparkling versions thrown into the mix! We love the vibrancy of Riesling, the styles and winemaking ethos that these wines attract so we thought we’d bring them all together under one roof.
A celebration of great music and great wines, and showing the natural symbiosis between wine, food and music- a collaboration between the senses if you will- and inviting our wine drinking community to come along and learn about these incredible wines from all across the country.
Come and get down with the liveliest of the grape varieties…
