About Tina Maio - Osteopath

Dr Tina Maio is a registered Osteopath with a background in Strength and Conditioning and Exercise Rehabilitation. She established a private practice in Coburg, Melbourne Australia in 2000, which consists of 9 Osteopaths, Masseurs, Acupuncturists, Naturopaths, Exercise Physiologists plus a Yoga and Pilates studio. Over the last 15 years, she has been involved in the physical preparation of elite athletes and has developed a strong stable of players internationally across Golf, Triathlon, Cycling and Tennis. From assessment, treatment, restoring function and improving efficiency of movement, she works closely with Doctors, coaches and trainers to achieve the best outcome for athletes. The current stable of players in her care are on the US PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, European Tour, One Asia Tour, Japanese Tour, Web.com and PGA of Australia. She is a member of the Sports Osteopath Committee in Australia, established by Osteopathy Australia and a member of Sports Medicine Australia. She has undertaken the SDCA train the trainer course in Singapore 2014 and in Malaysia 2016.

Tina enjoys lecturing and teaching for SDCA (Swiss DolorClast Academy) on EMS Radial Shockwave therapy to allied health practitioners in Australia. It is part of her daily practice and she cannot speak highly enough of the positive impact it has had on her business.
