Revolution Dance Twirl 2025 End of Year Concert!

Revolution Dance Twirl are proudly Tasmania’s only Baton Twirlers and have been running since October 2016, after reintroducing Baton Twirling to Tasmania after approximately 25 years. Baton Twirling is a dynamic, high energy sport that is both fun to perform and entertaining to watch. It is a unique fun sport, that combines Baton Twirling tricks consisting of Aerials, Contact material & Rolls, with Dance and Gymnastics. It is great for reflexes, hand eye coordination, and ambidexterity. It teaches patience, perseverance and determination, and gives a great deal of intrinsic reward, while building confidence and self esteem. It is perfect for all ages, abilities and fitness levels. There are many events in the sport of Baton Twirling, such as One Baton, Two Baton, Three Baton, Strut, Freestyle and Dance Twirl.RDT is run by Shannon James. Shannon Twirled and Danced in Burnie for many years, and competed at both State, and National Championships. She is currently a Level 2 Coach with Twirling Australia. Seperate Dance classes are also available and consist of Lyrical, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Contemporary & Hip Hop. Lessons are available at both group classes or Private lessons. Revolution teaches children from 3 years of age through to Adults. New members are always welcome and we are now taking new enrolments for 2025.
