An intimate and transformative Day Retreat to embark on a somatic journey back to land, community, and the deepest truth of who you are.

RETURN is a full-day immersive experience where your body leads you back to what's true through transformational breathwork, somatic release, and sacred ritual.

Held in a private sanctuary surrounded by horses in Mooroduc on the Mornington Peninsula, experience profound inner-healing, self-compassion and embodied presence as you journey deep within yourself.

Hosted by Master Breathwork Facilitator, Rachel Bale, specialising in trauma-informed somatic healing, this nourishing day blends both grounding and activating breathwork, somatic healing practices to release stored tension and emotion, a fire release ceremony to honour what’s complete and call in what’s next, and the sacred contained of being held in community while you do your deepest inner work.

The day also includes a fresh, seasonal lunch & afternoon tea from local provider, Common Table, time on the land to reconnect with the earth beneath you, and integration space to reflect and land in what’s moved within you. You’ll be nourished from the inside out and guided back to the embodied wisdom that has lived within you all along.

Day retreat flow:

10am - Arrival + Connection - be greeted with a hot drink and an opportunity to gently connect with the land and each other before we go deeper.

10:30am - Outdoor Grounding Breathwork (weather permitting) - we begin with gentle and grounding breathwork on the grass to anchor into the body, settle into the present and open into the journey ahead.

11am - Somatic Release Practices - heading inside the cosy studio, we’ll work intentionally with somatic practices and movement designed to release the bracing patterns and stored tension living in your fascia and muscle memory.

12pm - 1pm - Lunch - be nourished by a fresh, seasonal meal around the shared table by local provider, Common Table (sample menu below - dietary requirements will of course be supported)

1pm - 3pm - Breakthrough Breathwork - experience a deeply transformative holotropic breathwork journey to break through the thinking mind and access the powerful somatic wisdom your body holds. Expect new levels of freedom, emotional release and profound perspective shifts.

3pm - 4pm - Fire Release Ritual (weather permitting) + Afternoon tea - we’ll close our day gathering together around the outdoor fire pit to ceremonially release what’s complete and honour your journey. We’ll sit together, enjoy a selection of housemade baked goods, fresh fruit & herbal tea and integrate what’s shifted. You'll leave feeling deeply rooted in yourself and intimately connected to those who journeyed alongside you.

  • Spiced cauliflower, chickpea + pomegranate salad, tahini dressing
  • Panzanella salad, buffalo mozzarella, salmoriglio

March 22 sits at a powerful intersection. It's the weekend of the autumn equinox as well as the astrological beginning of the year.

Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere is a season of release and integration, when nature shows us how to let go gracefully. The equinox marks the balance point before we turn fully inward. And astrologically, late March is when the sun enters Aries, bringing fresh initiatory energy and the start of a new annual cycle.

This retreat is designed to work with both energies: the release of autumn and the beginning-again energy of Aries season.

RETURN offers your body a full day to consciously meet this threshold. To shed what this season is asking you to release, to ground into what you're calling in and to step into the year ahead clear, embodied, and at peace.


Meet your Facilitator:

Rachel Bale is a Master Breathwork Instructor specialising in trauma-informed somatic healing.

With a background in teaching, Rachel spent years living in her head – achieving, managing, pushing through – while her body quietly kept the score. Her body eventually started speaking to her through burnout, postpartum depression and autoimmune illness, but she didn't know how to listen.

Breathwork brought her home to herself. It showed her that you can't think your way into healing. You have to feel it, release it and let your body know it's safe to live in the present.

Now Rachel helps others do the same. Her sessions blend science and spirit, offering trauma-informed, compassionate spaces where your mind can quiet, your body can release and you can remember what wholeness feels like.
