I would like to suggest a possibility that you may find useful.

Most of us, if we are honest with ourselves, recognize that we sometimes have occasions of upset. We may experience excessive anger, anxiety before a job interview, or irrational fears. Our children may be anxious before an exam or a sports event.

These are, of course, a normal part of being human, and we may take them for granted. But these responses obviously interfere with our inner well-being.

Many people go to counseling or psychotherapy. This is a wise thing to do. The more we resolve our emotional issues, the happier we are.

However, there are techniques we can use for ourselves to resolve our own emotional triggers – permanently. The techniques are straightforward to apply and highly effective. As we resolve emotional triggers, we develop a greater feeling of internal well-being, and our relationships improve.

EFT

One of the techniques is EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). It is also known as the ‘tapping technique’, because you settle emotional upsets by tapping on a series of acupressure points. The technique is surprisingly easy and effective.

The story of how EFT was developed is fascinating.

A psychologist in California had a client who was phobic about water. Two inches of water in a bathtub and she would panic – and nobody knew why. They had worked for a year with little progress.

One day the client reported that she had a bit of a upset stomach. The psychologist was knowledgeable about acupuncture meridians – the lines of energy flow that are associated with different organs in the body. Thinking to settle her stomach, he gently tapped on the end of her stomach meridian just below the eye.

To his astonishment his client exclaimed, “My phobia is gone!” and proceeded to go to a nearby swimming pool and splash in the water.

This insight led to the development of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). It turns out that EFT can help with all kinds of upsets. Parents have even used it to help kids calm themselves before gymnastic events or exams.

Many people have learned EFT from videos on the web. You might want to try it yourself.

However, there is a knack to the thinking that makes EFT work. In this workshop I will coach you personally to master that way of thinking. This is what makes this workshop special.
