Research Seminar Series
Inclusive research with people with intellectual disabilities: exploring issues of interdisciplinarity, ethics and impact
Dr Liz Tilley will explore new developments in inclusive research for adults and young people with intellectual disabilities, examining innovative and interdisciplinary methods that are being deployed in a number of UK based research projects.
Liz will explore how adults and young people with the most complex needs can be supported to participate in research, and the ways in which this can encourage us to think differently about disciplinary underpinnings and what might constitute 'data' in such projects.
