About this event

*This is an event for long term carers only*

RENEW in response to the needs of long term carers, to provide them with a space to begin their own healing journeys. The RENEW groups are run with a specific topic and an expert presenter to introduce you to the information and concepts pertinent to your wellness. Following the presentation there will be space for open discussion amongst the group, supported by facilitators that also have a lived experience caring for a loved one with an eating disorder.

Jess presents crucial information on how to support cohesion within your family, when a family member has an eating disorder. Learn how to support your family to enjoy the benefits of the family unit, keeping siblings supported and not losing the parenting role. With Christmas and holidays around the corner, the group discussion will allow you to explore how you can support the family dynamics through this challenging time.
