Leichhardt Town HallLeichhardt, NSW
Tuesday, Mar 17 from 6 pm to 8 pm
Overview

Join us to celebrate the strength and spirit of Myanmar’s fight for democracy and hope in a powerful documentary screening and conversation.

As part of our ongoing advocacy, The Movement recently made a submission to the Australian Senate’s Inquiry into Democracy and Human Rights in Myanmar. We’re now bringing the conversation into the community through this event.

Join us for a screening of Voices of Resistance, a documentary sharing stories of exile, courage, and resilience from Myanmar.

Come enjoy resistance songs and community performances with the Singing for All Choir and the Myanmar community.

A conversation with distinguished guests will follow the screening, featuring Patrick Burgess, Sean Turnell, San May Thu, and Ko Ko Aung, moderated by Tasneem Roc.
