Everything changes when you can finally hear yourself think.

Over the last few years, I’ve observed a clear pattern.

Brilliant, capable people — exhausted by constant pace.
Paralysed by decisions that used to feel simple.
Stuck in patterns they know aren’t serving them, yet repeating them anyway.

We haven’t lost ourselves.
Our systems adapted.

Under sustained pressure, the nervous system becomes protective. It braces. It speeds up. It shuts down. It does what it needed to do to cope.

But when that adaptation becomes the default, clarity disappears.
