Are you in need of a light-hearted break and want to try something new and fun?

Take a moment for yourself and enjoy two care-free hours to release tension in a 'Laughter Yoga' session and then unwind and recharge with mindfulness activities to calm your mind, uplift your mood and inspire you to connect with other carers who get it!

If you know someone who supports someone else and needs a fun break, bring them along and meet the Cairns Carer Gateway team. Our friendly Hub Navigator will be able to help register them for Carer Gateway support and following on from this morning session we have an afternoon "Am I A Carer" information session at 1pm with the opportunity to learn more about Wellways Carer Gateway, our partners and local resources and service providers in the Cairns and surrounding areas.

*Carer Gateway is a national support service funded by the Australian Government. It provides free services for anyone caring for a family member or friend who has a disability, mental health condition, chronic health condition, terminal illness, or is frail aged.
