Relationships, Agreements & Commitments

Relationships, Agreements & Commitments

Overview

A practical workshop that explores how listening deeply and keeping our word can strengthen and improve our relationships.

The quality of our relationships rests on two everyday skills: how we listen, and how we keep our word. In this next Living Well workshop, James Brett and Lisa Crawford from Oasis Within explore the felt difference between half-distracted listening and full, whole-body listening, and share a simple way to make, keep and cleanly recommit to agreements so trust grows rather than wears away. Whether you're thinking of a partner, family, workplace or community group, you'll leave with practical tools to connect more deeply and communicate more clearly.

You'll leave with:

• The experience of truly listening, and of being truly heard

• A simple way to make clear agreements and keep them

• A respectful, no drama way to rebuild trust when things slip

This interactive, chair based workshop is suitable for a range of mobility levels. No experience is needed and it is open to all adults. All activities are optional, and you won't be asked to share personal information.

Each workshop stands on its own, so you don't need to have attended earlier sessions. Come to one or join us for the rest of the series.

Presented by James Brett and Lisa Crawford of Oasis Within.
