Reiki Level 1 – Shoden is the first step in learning the Usui Method of Reiki Healing. It is a return to simplicity, to reconnecting with Universal Life Force Energy and allowing it to flow naturally through the Hands.

This two-day seminar offers a gentle yet profound introduction to Reiki as a hands-on healing practice and a pathway of self-development. Through teachings, guided meditations and personal experience, you will learn how Reiki supports balance and wellbeing on every level — physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

Over the course of the seminar, you will receive four Reiki energy transmissions. These transmissions fine-tune your energy system and awaken your natural ability to work with Reiki. Many experience this as a remembering — a deep inner recognition rather than something new being learned.

By the end of the two days, you will carry the Reiki Energy in your Hands for life — to support your own healing and to share with others.

What the Two Days Include

Day One
An introduction to Reiki and its principles, guided meditation, and the first stages of fine-tuning into Reiki. Teachings explore emotions, belief systems and the inner changes that support healing and growth. You will feel the Reiki Energy in your Hands on the first day.

Day Two
Further teachings in metaphysics and spiritual understanding, the final transmission to seal the Reiki Energy, and hands-on practice. Time is given to integrate the teachings and gain confidence working with Reiki.

Upon completion, participants receive a Reiki Level 1 Certificate, recognised through Michelle’s registration with the Australian Reiki Connection.

Michelle Nassner is a Reiki Master, Teacher and Practitioner with over 35 years experience working with the Usui Method of Reiki Healing. She has dedicated her life to supporting others through healing, self-awareness and spiritual development, both in Australia and internationally.

Michelle is a certified Reiki trainer and registered member of the Australian Reiki Connection, and teaches Reiki with integrity, care and respect for the lineage of this gentle healing practice.

Her teaching style is calm, compassionate and empowering.
