Do you have clothes that need repairing, fixing up or adjusting but not quite sure how to fix them or if you're on the right track? Need a second opinion about a mending project you're working on? Online vidoes not quite cutting it helping you with your project? Perhaps you've just got stuck with a clothing project or not sure where to start.
Come along to The ReDress Hub for our RePair Cafe and Clothing Advice on the first Saturday of the month between 10-1:00pm, and we'll be your repair angels, giving you advice and help as you need it and so you can continue to work on your project with us at The ReDress Hub.

What to bring:
We have most of the things you'll need such as sewing machines, scissors, basic coloured threads and an assortment of knitting and crochet equipment.
- Your mending project, either started or an idea for the project.
- Any materials that are specifically needed for the project: for example a matching button, a specific coloured cotton thread, the knitting needles or crochet hook you're using, the fabric you have chosen to match or style with your clothing
- If you have a zip issue, these can be tricky to mend ...so we advise that if this is your issue that you also have advanced sewing skills
- An open mind and enthusiasm for 'giving it a go'!

Ticket prices and Booking:
We'd love it if you prebook a ticket to attend so we get an idea of numbers but we're also open for you to drop by and pay for your ticket on the day.
You can either prepay for the full 3 hours for $25 OR for smaller projects, you can pay by the hour at $10/hour, on the day, no need to book.
There are concession tickets and we also have special subsidised tickets for people who may be struggling to afford the cost of our workshops. These tickets are courtesy of a Launceston City Council Community Grant. We're excited to be able to run our Repair Cafes face-to-face (no videos!) in our specially designed space.

You can find us in behind Toyworld :) in Dell Lane.
Super handy access to parking in the Care CarPark next door, with great cafes close by to fuel you up for all your workshop needs.
