The headspace University Support Program welcomes you to join us for this important session on 'Recovery after suicide: strategies to support staff and students'.

This workshop will:

  • develop an understanding of the role of postvention in the university setting, and in particular the important phase of recovery to reduce further harm and act as a prevention for the future.
  • examine six strategies that can help staff support the recovery activities that contribute to mentally healthy communities following a death by suicide.
  • Increase your awareness of suicide prevention and postvention services available to support you and your university.

Audience: We welcome any staff member of any Australian university, regardless of your role.
