Recording Studio Induction

Learn to use professional audio equipment and specialist software for recording, mixing, editing, and mastering.

Mix it up like a pro. State Library's recording studio at The Edge offers access to high-quality audio equipment and specialised software for recording, mixing, editing, and mastering. Our professional-grade studio is available to hire free of charge, though a brief induction is required.

During the induction, you’ll learn how to handle and operate the equipment, as well as review our open hours and booking policies.

Once complete, you’ll be all set to book the studio and bring your sound-based projects to life.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Participants must be over 16 years of age.

Please become a State Library member before you arrive. If you already have a State Library member account, make sure you know your login details as you may be required to login during the workshop to access State Library computers, and to make bookings for equipment.
