Reconsolidation Therapy™ Basic Training

Reconsolidation Therapy™ Basic Training

Online event
Overview

Train to become a Reconsolidation Therapy™ practitioner and start transforming how you help others heal.

Professor Alain Brunet, Director of UniSC's Thompson Institute, will teach you his innovative method for treating patients with trauma- and stressor-related disorders, including PTSD.

About Reconsolidation Therapy™

Reconsolidation Therapy™ involves recalling traumatic memories with the support of a certified therapist while under the influence of a memory reconsolidation-blocking medication, such as low-dose oral propranolol. It is a simple, fast, and effective trauma treatment based on the latest discoveries in neuroscience and memory reconsolidation.

It is not necessary to hold prescription privileges to learn and practise Reconsolidation Therapy™, nor is it necessary to work in partnership with a medical doctor.

Evidence-based Reconsolidation Therapy™ has been shown to:

  • Reduce the emotional burden of trauma in 70% of cases within six weeks
  • Achieve therapeutic outcomes without daily psychotropic medication
  • Produce little to no side effects
  • Deliver lasting results beyond approaches based on extinction learning
  • Be recognised internationally as a breakthrough treatment for PTSD
