About this event
Just a short distance off the coast of Victor Harbor, Granite Island Recreation Park is an iconic attraction of the Encounter Bay area.
Join us for a ranger guided walk around the island and take in the spectacular views of Encounter Bay and the Bluff. If you're lucky you might even spot dolphins and seals.
While you make your way around the island our volunteer rangers will shed some insight about the local wildlife, history and the captivating sculptures.
The guided walk will take around one hour and is suitable for all ages.
What to bring:
- Hiking boots/sturdy shoes
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, long sleeved shirt)
- Drinking water
- Personal medications
- Hand sanitiser
