A relaxed and engaging session designed for parents of children aged 2–8.

Ever wonder where a child’s confidence really comes from? It’s not just about achievements or praise -- it’s built day by day through how we respond, support, and connect.

We’ll explore:

  • A simple 5-step method for responding to big emotions such fear and worry
  • How your own emotional patterns affect your child’s behaviour and self-confidence
  • How to effectively praise to boost positive behaviour patterns
  • The hidden connection between boundaries, emotional safety and self-esteem
  • Expect activities, short videos, real-life examples, parenting quiz and more!


Session Info:

  • Run by a certified Tuning in to Kids facilitator with extensive experience working with children and youth from diverse backgrounds and identities.
  • The session is developed based on the core strategies of Tuning in to Kids.
  • Best suited for: parents and carers of parents and carers of child/ren age 2-8
  • Capacity: limited to a maximum of 14 participants.
  • This is an adult-only session; no childcare services are provided.
