Overview

Come along and get crafty this Mardi Gras with local artist Jeff McCann!

In this workshop participants will use cardboard, paint and simple craft techniques to create a pin or brooch inspired by a rainbow. The workshop involves acrylic paint and scissors and is suitable for all skill levels. It’s playful & social. So grab a friend or two and let’s create a colourful artwork that you can wear with pride!

This is a safe and welcoming event for our LGBTQIA+ community and allies, please come just as you are knowing that your identity and pronouns will be respected.

About Jeff McCann:

Jeff (he/they) explores themes of play, nostalgia, world building, games and the natural environment through his work. With his work ranging from public art, illustration and wearables. He has worked for clients including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Questacon & ACON and Wear it Purple.
