The Marrickville Croquet Club invites the LBGTQI+ community and friends to join us for a late afternoon of fun at Rainbow Croquet 2026

YOU are INVITED to RAINBOW CROQUET 2026

The Marrickville Croquet Club (MCC) is joining with the Inner West Council to bring the Joy of Croquet to the LGBTQ+ community again.

On Friday February 20th 2026, as part of the IWC Mardi Gras festivities, we are hosting our annual Rainbow Croquet celebration.

Think back to the days of Alice in Wonderland, a garden party, refined cups of tea with dainty sandwiches – think Oscar Wilde, Radclyffe Hall and Gentleman Jack.

Now come and see what it is really like – the genteel savagery of modern Croquet awaits!

Whether you're experienced, a beginner or simply Croquet-curious, everyone is welcome and it's guaranteed to be a hoot!

All equipment and instruction will be provided – and light refreshments will be served.

Wear flat heeled sensible shoes (sorry about that), bring a hat and your water bottle and join us for a memorable and fun afternoon.
