Want to run your own Radio Show/Podcast? Record music? Write an article? Come along to Training Night to get involved!
Have you ever wanted to run a radio show? What about a podcast? Are you a musician that wants to record music? What about writing an article? If you said yes to any of the above, then you should come on down to Training night.
This is the perfect chance to come along and learn about Radmon! We have a wide range of ways to get involved, from hosting a radio show, to recording music, to writing articles and so much more!
If you’re interested in understanding how to use our equipment for hosting your own radio show or running a podcast, this night is the place to be! To understand how to manage, market and create an engaging program, Training Night will provide you with all you need to know on having a successful program.
But that’s not all! Radio Monash also has an epic recording studio that is free for all students to use. So if you have been looking for a place to record your own music, you’ve just found it! Learn the in’s and out’s of the studio, from using the equipment to borrowing the instruments, Training Night gives you the opportunity to meet our studio department who will help you navigate the space.
Our journalism department is also back in action with plenty of exciting opportunities for students to partake in. Do you love music journalism? Want to gain experience writing for an organisation who has a reputation in the Melbourne music scene? Well there’s no better place to start writing for! Come and meet our Journalism director and find out how to get involved and start writing!
If you’re interested in finding out more about getting involved in our committee or subcommittee, or asking questions/meeting the directors, this is the perfect event to come too! It is recommended that if you want to run a radio show or podcast this semester, that you come to training night.
This event is free to all students who are interested in Radio Monash! So come along to learn about how to get involved, eat some free pizza, and enjoy awesome vibes as we start semester 1 with a bang!
Catering is pizza, make sure to let us know beforehand of any dietary requirements you have!

- This event is located on the 1st floor of Campus Centre which is accessible via elevator.
- There will be staff present who are aware of hidden disabilities and trained in the Sunflower Scheme. They will aim to assist wherever possible and requested!

Radio Monash is an entirely student-run and operated radio station based on the Clayton campus of Monash University. Around in various guises since its humble beginnings in 1972, Radio Monash has a proud history of supporting the thriving Melbourne music scene.
