An extra 80 sites for 'self-contained' vehicles have been made available for Race Round 2026.

Welcome to Race Round 2026!

The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club, together with the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, is pleased to provide this Rest Area for you during Race Round. To make sure everyone enjoys the experience, please take note of the following

Location

• Meldrum Avenue, alongside the Gribble Creek walk & cycle trail
• Across the road (500m) from Centennial Park – with BBQs and a coffee van each morning
• Just a 500m walk to the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club!

Dates from Friday 18 September - Monday 5 October 2026

Terms of Entry

• Vehicles must be self-contained with onboard toilet/shower. All waste must be retained - no waste to ground.
• Follow the “Leave No Trace” principles.
• Pets must be on a leash at all times.
• No portable power generators (onboard/built-in units are permitted).
• No tents or camping in passenger vehicles.
• No clothing hung outside to dry.

72 Hour RV Friendly Rest Stops

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder hosts two (2) RV Friendly 72 hour rest stops sites.

• Centennial Park - Cnr Patroni and Hannan Street Kalgoorlie
• Lake Douglas Recreation Reserve - 13km from town on Muncaster Road, Yilkari - Via Great Eastern Highway towards Coolgardie.

Waste & Dump Points

Dump point details are displayed on the fencing at this site or available from the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Visitor Centre.
