Enjoy a summer family day at Constable Care Safety School, where kids learn bike and road safety through riding and hands-on activities.
Constable Care Safety School is a purpose-built miniature road network designed for children to test and learn their riding behaviours in a safe environment, improve road safety awareness and improve their understanding of road rules and safety.
Through our partnership with Constable Care Foundation Safety School, we’re inviting RAC members to join a Community Day focussed on improving road safety behaviours and bike riding confidence.
Bring your own bike and get hands on by learning through:
- In-class bike safety session (approx. 30 mins)
- Ride on the safety school bike track, with traffic lights, crossings, roundabouts and a mini train station, using your bike safety passport and collect stamps along the way (approx. 30 mins)
- Light refreshments, games, prizes and more!
For more than 35 years, Constable Care Foundation has been WA’s leading youth safety education provider, delivering creative, performance-based programs that build life skills, raise awareness and support the wellbeing of young people across the state.
This is a family-friendly event. Tickets are free, registration is essential, and spots are limited — so don’t miss out on this Summer family fun day!
What you need to know
- A maximum of four tickets is available per booking.
Note: One ticket is required per child. Adults do not need a ticket, however a supervising adult must remain onsite at all times.
- Suitable for children aged 4–12 years
- We recommend that children are able to ride a bike (trainer wheels welcome)
- Bring your own bike and helmet, or use those provided onsite
Why this matters to RAC
Traffic crashes remain one of the leading causes of death among children. By supporting programs that build bike handling and road safety skills, RAC is helping create safer roads and empowering young Western Australians to make safe decisions — now and into the future.
Through our Community Partnership with the Constable Care Foundation, we’re raising awareness, building community safety skills, and offering meaningful experiences for RAC members through our community volunteering initiatives.
Join us to learn more, connect with your community, and contribute to a safer, more sustainable and connected future for WA families.
