About this event

These sessions have been developed to provide a strong understanding of QUT procurement fundamentals such as:

  • Procurement processes and thresholds
  • Panels and arrangements
  • Contract management and defined roles and responsibilities
  • Probity, fraud and corruption
  • Responsible procurement @ QUT

These sessions will be held in A Block, Room 101 at GP campus. The session will have limited numbers to ensure we have a more tailored and engaging conversation.

Frequently asked questions

Is this session available online (virtually)?

The training is created with the intention for in person attendance in order to gain the most out of the session. If you are unable to attend in person, please contact the organizer who can look to accommodate a virtual viewing.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring yourself, and a laptop if you have one. There will be quizzes and interaction throughout the training session so you will need to be able to get online. Devices will be made available if you are unable to bring one. Some very light refreshments will be made available.

What if I can no longer attend after I have registered ?

Please contact the organizer as soon as you know you cannot attend. Training spots are limited to 10 persons for each session, so the organizer will refund your registration to allow others to book a spot.

Will a copy of the presentation be provided?

Yes! A copy of the presentation will be emailed at least 24 hours prior to the session occurring. Please bring a copy of this to your session to allow you to take notes. Copies will also be provided on the day.
