Overview

Learn proper finger positioning, improve your typing speed, and reduce mistakes to type with confidence and accuracy in this 2-day course!

Wednesdays 8 Apr & 15 Apr, 10.00am – 3.30pm

This course is held at Level 4, 69 Phillip Street, Parramatta. All courses are in Auslan with Deaf trainers.

If you are deaf, over 15 years old, and living in NSW, all courses are fee-free. This training is funded by the NSW government.

To enrol: Submit your details via Eventbrite, or come to our enrolment day on 27 January 2026, 10am – 1pm at Level 4, 69 Phillip St, Parramatta.

This course is designed for Deaf learners who are new to typing. You’ll learn how to use a keyboard step by step, with clear visual instructions and Auslan support. No reading or writing experience needed. You’ll build your skills through fun, hands-on activities that help you type words, messages, and stories.

In this course you will learn:

  • How to position your fingers
  • How to increase your typing speed
  • How to minimise mistakes
