Queer Bites celebrates Sydney’s best local queer films and filmmakers. Join us for a night of film and conversation!
Queer Bites will showcase award-winning short films of queer stories to the screen, exploring themes of disability, race, trans, gay, lesbian, and non-binary experiences. Come join us along with the talented people of The Story Mill, for a night of celebration and conversation with some of Sydney’s best Queer filmmakers.

- Peach - Socially anxious Sarah lands herself a date. There's only one problem...she's not sure if it's actually a date.

Already prepared to be compared to her other cousins for her career choices and lack of motivation, she must also explain to her conservative family her decision to transition into being a woman at the request of her mother.

The Story Mill is a boutique production company founded in 2019 by the dynamic and quirky duo Sophie Saville and Rowan Devereux. They've been making waves with their award-winning films, including shorts Peach and Pineapple, documentaries Inspire Me! and Making It, and their feature film Evicted!
