On 23 October 2023, Health Translation Queensland will officially launch the Queensland node of Health Data Australia - a new national catalogue making sharing and requesting access to data from health studies easier.At this event, Queensland’s health research community will find out about:<ul><li>background and aims of the Health Studies Australian National Data Asset (HeSANDA) project</li><li>what Health Data Australia is</li><li>why data sharing is important</li><li>how a clinical triallist in Queensland can upload trials into the Queensland node so this data is identifiable in Health Data Australia.</li></ul>P﻿rofessor Andrew Morris, Director at Health Data Research UK, will also give a talk on the UK's system and outline the benefits of data sharing.Program <ul><li>Professor John Prins (HTQ Executive Director)- HTQ and the importance of Digital</li><li>Professor Andrew Morris (Director, HDR UK) - Gearing an entire country for health data science</li><li>Dr K﻿ristan Kang (ARDC) - Health Data Australia</li><li>Kathy Dallest (QCIF) - Queensland node</li><li>D﻿r David Hansen (CSIRO AEHRC, CEO) - HTQ's Digital Advisory Group program of work</li></ul>DetailsThis is a hybrid event delivered in person at Mayne Medical School, 288 Herston Road, Herston, Queensland and online.
