With Australia’s quantum progress expected to exceed this forecast and myriad career options on the horizon, Quantum Future Talent is your opportunity to explore what it takes to be part of this promising future.

After a sold-out inaugural event last year, Quantum Future Talent returns in 2026 with a dedicated Careers Fair, proudly presented by Sydney Quantum Academy.

The 2026 Careers Fair connects you directly with potential employers, industry leaders and university representatives. It’s your opportunity to explore the study and career pathways shaping Australia’s quantum future.

With 30+ exhibitors expected and a panel discussion featuring industry and high-profile thought leaders, you’ll learn more about the job-ready skills and attributes that will set you apart in a highly competitive and growing industry, no matter which stage of your career you are at.

Who should attend

This event is designed for undergraduates, postgraduates, higher degree research (HDR) students and career changers actively seeking study and career pathways into Australia’s quantum workforce.

New for 2026: Speed Networking with Industry

The Quantum Future Talent Careers Fair will offer jobseekers the opportunity to attend speed-networking style interviews with several leading industry partners.

These sessions will take place earlier in the day, prior to the formal program, and will include a pre-selection process — so now is the time to refine your CV.
