This QMEA Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) for school kids day will provide up to 30 Year 10 students from invited schools with an insight into the professional careers in the minerals and energy industry.

During the one day workshop, students will complete three practical activities which will focus on a number of areas of science, engineering and maths. These hands-on activities are based on real world activities conducted by minerals and energy professionals.

The students will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals who work on minerals and energy worksites and understand more about their roles, their career paths and what they do.
