This is a 1-day workshop that teaches the fundamentals of a highly sought after skill - Python!Used by tech giants like Netflix, Instagram, and Google, Python is the easiest, most practical, and most popular programming language in 2019.This course skips the computer science jargon and focuses on writing code for practical uses, so no prior programming experience is required - if you can use a keyboard and mouse, you can learn to code!In one day, we'll cover the following topics:<ul><li>Python Interface,</li><li>Datatypes &amp; Variables,</li><li>Operators,</li><li>Conditional Statements,</li><li>For &amp; While Loops,</li><li>Custom Functions,</li><li>Libraries,</li><li>Managing Files &amp; Folders,</li><li>Jupyter Notebook,</li><li>Pandas Dataframe</li><li>Matplotlib</li></ul>By the end of this workshop, participants will have learnt to import data from Excel, automate a data analysis activity, export the report to Excel, and visualise the results with graphs and charts.Please bring your own laptop - computers not provided.WiFi, pens, and paper will be provided.
