Do I have to be a University of Melbourne student/staff/academic to attend this event?

Yes. This workshop is only  for University of Melbourne staff and students only. You will be asked to register using your University email address. If your email is not a valid Unimelb email address, your order will be cancelled.

Not at all! Our workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to be a safe space for all levels of experience. We welcome anyone who is interested in learning more about Python, regardless of whether you have any prior experience or not. Our expert instructors will guide you through the basics and prov

Do I have to bring my own laptop or computer?

Yes, we recommend that you bring your own laptop or computer to our workshop, as we will be live coding and it's important to have access to a machine to follow along with the exercises. If you don't have a laptop or computer, please let us know in advance so that we can make arrangements for you.

Is the Digital Studio accessible?

Digital Studio is committed to being an accessible and  friendly space. We have taken steps to make our facilities and events as accessible as possible, including wheelchair accessibility, accessible restrooms, and other accommodations as needed.

How many participants will be in the workshop with me?

Accepted Answer

We expect there to be 25 participants in the workshop with you. We generally aim to keep our workshops small enough to allow for individual attention and interaction with the instructor, while still being large enough to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Will I get access to all the workshop session resources?

Yes, you will have access to all the workshop session resources. We understand that it can be difficult to retain all the information covered during a workshop, so we provide all participants with access to the session resources, including slides, code samples, and any other relevant materials.
