Here we are friends, back in lockdown and giving you a one time opportunity to take a dip into the barrel cellar with winemaker Tim Shand, from the comfort of your living room.
Join Tim live from the Punt Road Cellar Door in Coldstream, to taste and compare a set of six 200ml barrel samples drawn exclusively for this event.
Your ticket includes delivery of -
- Chardonnay, a comparison of old block Chardonnay aged in a new oak barrel next to an older barrel sample
- Pinot Noir, we will look at the difference between whole bunch and whole berry fermentation from our best block
- Shiraz, we will compare the subtleties of two different Yarra sites, our own wine from Coldstream vs. a neighbouring wine from Gruyere to see if the magic of terroir is all its cracked up to be
- A 180 gm Yarra Valley Dairy Hubert's washed rind cows milk cheese exclusive to this event, because of course there must be cheese!
The tasting will be presented via Zoom and the link will be emailed to you directly from Eventbrite after your ticket is purchased. We took your feedback on board after our last event and have made improvements to our sound and video set up. It will of course be moderated, so you will be able to participate in the conversation via the Zoom chat function.
Pre-sales are open to Punters Club members within the Melbourne Metro region, unfortunately due to the fragile nature of the samples we cannot offer this outside of our Melbourne Metro delivery zone.
