Great Culture makes Great Cities. Yet one of the greatest challenges facing Perth and WA is space … where and how to accommodate a burgeoning cultural sector? This public talk examines recent initiatives to incentivize the design and creation of space for creatives. With examples ranging from Central Perth to Regional Geraldton, attendees will get a glimpse of the many planning, development and design levers that can be used to deliver studios, galleries, halls, hubs, centres and precincts to drive a renaissance of the Perth central area.
