About this event

  • 6 hours 30 minutes

Mental Health Response Training is contemporary, informed and evidence-based training, incorporating a first aid response to mental ill-health and mental illness.

Over six hours you will get hands-on, practical learning to help develop the confidence to engage and offer support to someone who may be developing a mental health issue or mental health disorder.

The training offers ideas about what mental health looks like, how to approach someone who may be displaying signs of poor mental health, role and responsibility when being a support, how to communicate and how to engage professional help.

By the end of this training course you will be able to recognise changes in behaviour and offer an informed response to help somebody in need.
